A wee belated birthday celebration, and excellent jowls.

Phoenix's downtown area is getting really nice with good restaurants and shops, arthouse cinemas and the museums. Right in the centre it's still dominated by bank towers, but these make pretty reflections of the skies, especially from the rooftop restaurants that slowly rotate to give you a view of the whole city.

This could be a title for the status of the blog at the moment, poor neglected thing. But it's actually about the recent lunar eclipse that we got to see in Arizona. The skies were beautiful. Back now, exhausted and jet-lagged, but rested.
